Having Fun!

Last weekend we enjoyed hiking along a coastal path from Nice to Villefranche-sur-Mer. It was a beautiful day and the walk was amazing! Villefranche-sur-Mer is such a cute little village. We had a relaxing lunch on a restaurant terrace by the water. The friends we were with are very active people, so we were talked into walking back on a different path to Nice. (We had our bus passes with us and had planned to use them on the way back.)

There is definitely plenty to do here. We went to the Matisse Museum and realized just before heading over that a Museum Pass is given to all Nice residents allowing free access to all area museums. That works for us! There are also a lot of festivals. This weekend is the Fête de la Bière Artisanale.

The American expat group in Nice is very active and has an Apéro every Friday afternoon. It's a great way to meet other Americans living here.

We've signed up for French class that meets every morning this week and next. So we've got some work to do. Hoping to improve my speaking ability.
